Marketing the War on Terror; MLM Multi Level Marketing Companies Operate Like Al Queda

July 6th, 2008

Al Queda is an interesting group and they operate similar to an Multi-Level-Marketing company and even use the same types of lies to sign up their down line Jihad followers and the tales of such must be tall indeed for someone to agree to blow themselves up in the name of Allah or any religious doctrine for that matter.

So the best way to beat Al Queda is to destroy their networks from within. The best way to do this is thru attempting to discredit their plan and tell of all the reasons it will not work or be successful in the end. We must also increase their attrition rate and cause people to quit their movement.

Other tactics to stopping MLM or Multilevel Marketing Companies is to take away their support structures. Do not allow the Al Queda members to get involved in large get togethers to gain synergy support. If they do of course take them all out at once.

Another way to stop MLM companies is to take away the up line motivation support structures. Also causing fear in the minds of those who might sign up makes sense. Fear of loss is the best fear. Consider the negative motivators of mankind; Fear of lack of respect from the rest of the population, fear of loss of life (don’t kid yourself they do not want to die unless they have too), fear of never achieving anything or losing all that they have (if indeed they have anything at all now).

If we use all of these techniques to defeat Al Queda including on hunting down their main leaders, we will be well on our way of winning the war on International Terrorism, Consider this in 2006.

The Wonders of Short Run Printing

June 12th, 2008

Oftentimes, businesses don’t always need large quantity of printing needs. There are times when they only need a hundred or even less. When the need for little yet fast printed materials arises, business owners are often confronted with financial problems. This is because in the business world, the more you order the cheaper the price so if you need only a few copies that would cost you quite a bunch of money. It could be a big problem for you especially if you need the printed materials so badly but you do not have the money to compensate for it.

Fortunately, printers and customers alike are seeing the value of short run printing. Both printers and customers have to work together to be able to minimize the cost of printing in small quantities while maintaining high quality print outs. That is why most printers carry out their work using state-of-the-art equipment to make sure of consistently good results, no matter what the size of the order. Short run printing is not only confided in the scope of black and white prints. With the highly competitive market that we have today, it is amazing to know that color printing is also available in short run prints. Businesses need catchy and captivating print materials and the only way to achieve that goal is to have those cards, newsletters or brochures printed in colors.

Aside from being cost effective and available in just a short period of time, short run printing services reduces risk of obsolescence for time sensitive printed materials, increases cash flow by getting the marketing materials out faster and lowers inventory cost of your products. Having your promotional materials out as soon as possible can not only offer better sales but also a good boost in your company image. After all, the last thing that you would want for your business is to loose customers because of failure to immediately inform them of your special events. Obviously, you would not want to miss this opportunity to entice customers. But if you were not able to release those flyers or posters in time you might just loose a number of them.

Nevertheless, choosing the right short run printing requires a considerable amount of skill. It involves both time and patience to come up with the right results. As part of the growth of online sales, short run printing retailers has brought their services in the virtual market making it much better and faster for individuals to get hold of their service. One of the big advantages that online short run printing businesses have over traditional short run printing services is the capacity to adjust in response to changes in the marketplace. Hence, it is now time for us to appreciate and take advantage of these printing services that we have previously could only dream about.

Two Week Free Trial Not a Good Introductory Offer for Audio Books Right Now

June 3rd, 2008

I have discussed the similarities of audio book renters to Netflix numerous times in my reviews. Similarities include “unlimited rentals”, an online prioritizing queue to speed up expediting of customer shipments, no due dates and free shipping. All these features helped make Netflix a successful business in a short period of time. This business strategy and my belief that the Regular CD format and MP3-format are a long way away from disappearing amidst the ever increasing amount of data downloadable to iPods, cell phones, car stereos, etc. works well for audio books too.

Larger and thoroughly catagorized audio book sections at book stores are being created to encompass the increasing demand as people continue to find the CD format more accessible and convenient than before, largely due to most new cars automatically equipped with CD players. The high price of new audio books has helped make the audio book renters’ monthly subscriptions a Godsend to many commuters. People trying to update their business acumen, escape from the pressures of work into a master storyteller’s drama or lighten the day’s load with something humorous or inspirational.

The similarity between the door-to-door DVD renters and audio book renters that needs some adjustment is the introductory offer. For Netflix a two week free trial gives the customer just enough time to decide if they’d rather run down the street to video store or wait at home for the DVDs to come in the mail. As suspicious as a two week free trial on a monthly subscription plan may seem it works for Netflix because people don’t need an introduction to renting DVDs. The same is not true for audio books because most people have not yet seen the access to the vast wealth of literature an audio book subscription presents.

For many commutors driving two or more hours a day listening to audio books is increasingly becoming a necessity and a way of life. But still most people can’t yet wrap their mind around how driving to work can be enjoyable. Instead of a monetary inticement, focus on how listening to books can give people an opportunity to enjoy literature they wouldn’t otherwise have time to read.

First sell the product, then the subscription. Show the prospective subscriber that listening to books can broaden their imagination. Show how this unique medium allows the listener to experience the author’s story with their own imagination while guided by a narrator’s gift to unlock the emotional and sensational elements of a book’s characters.

People first need to know that with the help of audio books they can realize the adage “The book was better than the movie”.

Writing Articles to Gain Link Popularity and Increase Trust and Credibility - The Secret Most Overlo

May 27th, 2008

As I look through my various forum links and review some of my
company email, I keep coming across questions relating to
generating inbound links to increase web site ranking. No matter
who you are, if you have a web site online you are always
looking for ways to improve your link popularity. While most SEO
practitioners will tell you that getting other related,
non-competing, websites to link to you should be high on your
priority list if you want better PR from Google or better
rankings, most web site designers miss the most obvious way to
get these valuable one way inbound links. There is a way to do
that plus generate additional content for your web site at the
same time. You can get those quality inbound links while
expanding your content which will bring the search engine
spiders to your web site more often. By following my
suggestions, you will be able to kill two birds with one stone,
and make your visitors happy while increasing your rankings and
making the spiders happy all at once.

Everyone is an expert at something.

It’s true, everyone has many years of experience at something.
Maybe you have been in a job for the past 20 years and know just
about every aspect of it, or maybe you’ve been making paper
airplanes as a hobby for just as much time. Either way, you have
20 years of knowledge about something that others could be
looking for information to read on those topics. Maybe you have
already built a web site taking advantage of that knowledge and
are looking to use it as a means to make a living, or maybe it’s
about a hobby and you want to make a living with that. Either
way, each of us has valuable knowledge that other people might
want. Why not take some time, sit down and think about your
business experience or hobby, and then write some “How To”
articles about it? If you have a web site that already uses that
hobby, or work experience, then it is a good way to add content
to your web site, and it’s also a good way to help you get those
inbound links you need to increase your rankings.

Using the Knowledge to Gain Link Popularity through Article
Writing.

Let’s say you have 20 years of experience with a company where
the only thing you did was to conduct interviews to hire new
employees. Let’s further say you were so good at this that it
was the only thing your company wanted you to do. Because your
results were so good, it’s the only thing you did do. Maybe your
prospects always worked out and were some of the hardest and
most competent workers your company ever hired. You could write
some articles on how to interview job candidates to get the best
employees, or maybe write articles telling job seekers what
companies are looking for in their potential employees. If you
have a web site for job seekers, or a web site for learning how
to interview employees, you could then use the articles for
additional web site content. It’s already a known and proven
fact that the search engine spiders can be conditioned to visit
your site more often through your patterns of adding content.
The more often a site updates, the more often the spiders come
to visit. The more often they visit, the better chances that
your web site will begin to jump in rankings because it is
viewed as a fresh content site that updates frequently and would
be more valuable to visitors.

Some might think there are just some topics so vague or
uninteresting that it wouldn’t be worth writing anything in that
topic area, but the professionals know there are readers for
almost any topic area, and no one topic is to be avoided because
of poor readership. It all comes down to your writing style,
ease of reading, and your credibility. If you can write gripping
content that pulls your readers in and informs them, then it
doesn’t matter what you write about. In the end, the reader will
be looking for you and not your article. This is not something
that happens over night. It takes a lot of writing and a lot of
time to hone your skills to that point. It takes writing daily
and forcing oneself to try different topics. It’s good to start
out with what you like, but to become a professional and have
flexibility, you have to write about other things too. Not only
will this experience help you become a more professional writer,
it will also help to develop your communication skills in the
written format. As you continue to use better forms of writing
and grammar, you will begin to write content pages for your site
that rank better with the search engines. It’s a win-win
situation all the way around.

Articles to Increase One-way Inbound Links and Web Site
Ranking.

Speaking of those rankings, that reminds me of those one-way
links I spoke about earlier. After you write your article, you
can submit it to other places online which will post it to their
web site, offer it to other web sites as free content, or both.
Most of these places will allow you to submit your own
information for an “Author’s Box” or “Author’s Bio” area which
they publish at the bottom of each article. These are things
like information about you, your web site, and LINKS you can add
back to your site. There you go, instant high quality in-bound
links without the need to add the other web site’s link to
yours, no begging, no paying extortion amounts of fees for an
ad, just good old fashioned content to promote your own
abilities and web site. It’s the easiest way to get a one-way
in-bound link to your site IF you can develop your writing
skills and your content viewed as valuable to another web site.
If you write garbage, your information isn’t credible and is
full of factual holes, or your writing puts people to sleep,
then chances are that your articles aren’t going to do anything
more than waste your time. That’s why it’s critically important
to get into the habit of writing often and learning the flow of
your chosen language.

You see, the more you write, the more you train your ear to
listen to the written words, and the more you learn what
“sounds” right and what doesn’t quite seem to make sense. As I
write an article, I am talking within my mind while I write.
Yes, maybe I am a bit strange, but it works for me. I add my
intonations and elevate my voice for emphasis, and I try to find
ways to convey that in my writing. I’m no “expert”, but this is
what works for me, and I have a decent amount of articles
published, which means I must be doing something right.
WebProWorld and WebProNews seem to like me, or at least my
writing style or the topics I cover. Maybe it’s just my
sincerity LOL. Hey, I do my best. I try to offer the facts and
ensure that I do my research before I write any article outside
my field of knowledge. Character helps to build a writer, and a
healthy dose of commitment to the reader doesn’t hurt either,
but you have to find ways to build credibility and trust.
Without those two things, nobody is going to read what you
write, and if they do, they aren’t going to be likely to click
on links back to your site. You have to get their attention and
compel them to want more of your writing. That’s what will make
your one-way inbound links even more valuable.

The Most MISSED Secret to Link Popularity through Writing
Articles.

OK, so now you have the knowledge to write articles and submit
them as a means to gain valuable one-way links to your web site,
what are you going to do with it? Are you going to sabotage your
own web site by failing to pay attention to the link you
formulate in the articles submitted? The more articles I read, I
tend to find a common error repeated by authors all over the
internet. Now granted, these are writers, not SEO specialists,
but this is just an example where it pays to round out your
knowledge in many areas of web site promotion, ranking, and
design. The BIGGEST mistake I see authors make when attempting
to gain inbound links is the keywords they FAIL to use within
those links. You see, so many writers worry about branding their
name. That works just fine for writers building portfolios for
selling their copy writing abilities where name recognition
becomes the search term a searcher looks for, but if you aren’t
a writer and are just using your knowledge to gain inbound
links, then you need to use your keywords in those links back to
your web site. It’s so simple that most times it’s overlooked.
Many will also use a company name as the link back to their web
site. Many of my articles have ended up that way because I
overlooked the obvious too. Nevertheless, by following this
method, it is a sure way to increase your company name, or your
name, but does NOTHING to increase the link popularity for the
keywords applying to your site.

Take for instance Sanders Consultation Group Plus. That’s my
company’s name. We provide web site design services, image and
graphical art services, business consultation services, SEO
services, and just about anything else to get your web site
promoted, up, and running. I tend to take a page-by-page view of
our site and link popularity. What I mean by that is I take
various areas, choose specific keywords, and search terms I want
our site to gain in rank popularity. I have recently done some
page optimizing for our web site design area; incidentally, web
site design has been the most searched term for web site design
services. It corresponds to one of the services we offer, and
it’s the most popular search-term people use when searching for
that type of service. Let’s say I write an article talking about
web site design. The next article I write on web site design
will include the company name, Sanders Consultation Group Plus,
but it will also include the term “web site design” linked to
the page we have recently optimized for our web site design
services. As I already said earlier, this is such a simple
concept that most people often overlook, and it can be a
detriment to your link popularity goals. And as we optimize each
area of our site, I will continue to write articles based on the
area keywords and phrases, and will then place links in my
Author’s Box to link back to those optimized pages.

It’s a reported fact that one-way in-bound links are worth more
than reciprocal links. However, for many web site designers and
webmasters, the ways to gain them has been somewhat elusive.
Many fear that imparting their knowledge will give competitors
an edge over the writer’s own business. What most fails to
consider is the number of people that start out as the “do it
yourselfer” and then realize there is more work than they
intended to do. When they find your articles, you become a
source for them to get their work done without their need to
invest large amounts of time on the project. This is where the
benefits of article writing will pay off, especially if you gain
credibility and trust through your readers. Even if a competitor
does notice one of your articles, sometimes they can be so
impressed and overwhelmed that they’ll write things about you,
include links to you, and you still come out on top. I’ve seen
it happen before. Someone reads something so profound that it
changes his or her life. They tend to tell others about the
change and how the change occurred.

Articles are a valuable way to get recognition, gain reputation
and credibility while increasing your link popularity. Done
wrongly, and it will do nothing but increase your reputation and
credibility. Done correctly, and it can raise your ranking
popularity and bring you added customers on top of the other
benefits. Take the time to learn how to write effectively. Write
daily and learn the flow of your chosen language. Write
truthfully and credibly. Make sure to give provable facts while
keeping the hype to a minimum. Use keywords in your Author Boxes
and find highly trafficked sites to submit to. Learn to write in
such a way that engages your readers’ minds and makes them want
to read more of your writing. If you can do all this, not only
will you become a trusted expert, but you will also gain
increased traffic to your web site and leverage your web site
income goals through increased link popularity and higher search
engine rankings. At the least, it will give you plenty of
content to update your web site and increase search engine
spidering.

A Positive Attitude is Crucial When Starting Out in Internet Marketing

May 9th, 2008

Dear Friend:

In order to become proficient in anything we want to pursue, we must have the right mental outlook from the get-go in order to maximize our chances for success. When learning to walk, talk or drive a car, it takes time, practice, patience and persistence before we can become so good at it, we don’t even have to think about what we are doing anymore. It becomes automatic. But until we reach that point, there are a few ways to help us reach our goals faster and with less frustration.

One way is to be patient with ourselves, keeping in mind that Rome wasn’t built in a day. We won’t become overnight sensations in Internet Marketing either. There will be a learning curve that we will be subjected to, but once we pass through it, we can and will succeed if we maintain our faith and believe in our capabilities. Any committed and determined individual with an “I’ll do whatever it takes…” attitude is sure to come out on top.

I know from personal experience that when my self-doubts begin to surface, that is when I begin to lose my motivation and focus and it becomes much harder to follow-through on the necessary steps I need to take to keep me moving toward my goals. Self-sabotage is an insidious thing - it creeps up on you without you even realizing it because it happens subconsciously. One is usually not aware of it even happening but it almost inevitably leads to failure. The only way to combat this self-sabotage is to consciously maintain a very positive and upbeat attitude and above all else, to keep up the faith. Eventually this positive outlook will override your self-sabotage tendencies and your subconscious mind will become programmed for success.

So, believe in yourself and have faith! With these two essential ingredients, you will be destined to succeed in a big way.

Onward and upward….

Designing a leaflet that sells

May 2nd, 2008

Interview with Allan Snow

Jan: Tell me about Choosing a size”
Allan:
During the design phase you must first decide what is the ideal paper weight and sizethat your artwork will be placed on. This is totally up to you but there are obviousbenefits and downsides. All these factors will come into play in your decision to chooseyour ideal size.

There are few factors you should take into consideration, I will list the positives and thepossible negative factors. There are also other things you never thought about butshould be aware of.

Lower Quality and smaller size -

A6 150gsm VsHigher Quality and larger size - A5 350gsm
Printing on a lower quality paper saves on cost this is positive

Jan:what about lower quality
Lower quality paper means they are easily ripped as they are pushed through letterboxes during leaflet distribution and on the other side of the door leaflets a torn and crumpled. This does notlook good as a first impression when trying to win new business. NegativeSmaller paper, smaller area and less information or a smaller font size must be used.thi is negative

Niche Marketing: Broker Your Way To Profits

April 2nd, 2008

If you haven’t started your own niche business yet because you haven’t got a product, here’s a business where you don’t need one - Joint Venture Brokerage.

As a Joint Venture Broker you don’t need your own product, customers or a mailing list… All you need to do is learn how to locate complimentary businesses, introduce them to each other and negotiate a deal with them. For doing this you get a percentage of the sales.

How It Works

If you’re not familiar with this niche business, let me give you a couple of examples to illustrate how it works:

Example One :

1. A has a product which he wants to get to the market but no list to mail to.

2. B has a list which targets just the right market for A’s product

3. The Joint Venture Broker introduces A to B and sets up a deal for B to promote A’s product to his/her list.

4. A and B both share the profits from sales of the product.

5. The Joint Venture Broker takes a percentage of the sales for setting up the deal.

Example Two :

1. A and B have successfull products which compliment, but don’t compete with, each other e.g. Poodle Clipping and Poodle Training.

2. Both A and B want to expand their businesses but don’t want spend anything on new products.

3. The Joint Venture Broker introduces A to B and sets up a deal for A to promote B’s product to his/her list and B to promote A’s product to his/her list.

4. A and B share the profits from sales of each others’ products to their respective lists.

5. The Joint Venture Broker takes a percentage of the sales from each for setting up the deal.

These are very simplistic examples, but as you can see it’s a total win/win/win arrangement for everyone involved.

The great thing about brokering Joint Ventures is they don’t have to be limited to just two parties. As a Joint Venture Broker you could set up deals which encompass multiple businesses and multiple products with each paying you a percentage.

Ideal Brokerage Opportunies

The ideal brokerage opportunities involve linking together business owners who haven’t realized the profit potential that exists between their respective companies, and who possess little to no knowledge on the true benefits of joint venture arrangements.

As a JV Broker in this situation you come in as an educator, mediator and facilitator between the two or more parties involved.

Depending on the resources available to each business, you could also make some extra profits by performing additional work necessary to the venture. For example, assisting with web page design, copywriting and so forth. Bringing these skills to the project can add an extra measure of security to your role as the middleman.

Getting Paid

You get paid for your time and expertise in hammering out the details of the venture and helping to make it work. For this you take a percentage of the sales so you need to make certain that you know when and how you will get paid.

Although most business people are ethical, there’s always an outside chance that the businesses you bring together could try to cut you out of the deal once they realize what they’re sitting on. It is therefore in your own best interests to ensure that all the details of the deal are laid out in a formal legal agreement.

The sort of thing your agreement should include is the respective contributions and expectations of each party involved in the deal, the respective duties and obligations of each in running the enterprise and how and when each of you are to be paid. In other words dot all the i’s and cross all the t’s of the deal.

(You can find Joint Venture Agreement Legal Forms at www.ilrg.com/forms/jointventure.html and numerous other places online, but I would strongly suggest you seek professional legal advice on your early deals).

Joint Venture Brokering is a highly versatile business which can be run on a part or full time basis and produce significant profits for those who take the time to learn the necessary skills and apply them.
