The Links between Resv Supplements and Cancer

April 8th, 2010

Resv Supplements have recently hit the headlines in the natural health marketplace as the new supplement that can help to delay the aging process, and that can also help to prevent the onset of several life threatening diseases.

More information:
ResVeratrol and Reduxin

Japanese Knotweed is a large herbaceous plant that originates in East Asia and has been related with Chinese herbal medicine for thousands of years. The plant grows prolifically, having the natural ability to emit its own natural herbicide that kills off many of the competitive plants in its vicinity. This is the main reason that in some countries (including the US and the UK), it is classed as an invasive species. The fact remains though that it is still commercially the most prolific source of ResVeratrol and for that reason it is encouraged and cultivated in many countries. Amongst the diseases that it is believed ResVeratrol may help to prevent are: cancer, heart disease, Alzheimer, Diabetes, and insulin resistance, and it is the Diabetes and insulin resistance that has a relevance in terms of weight loss. The research that was carried out on mice, discovered that as well as slowing down the aging process and keeping the test subjects healthy, the ResVeratrol supplement also stopped the mice from gaining any weight. It has also been found, that in humans it serves to suppress estrogen metabolites which helps to reduce body fat and facilitate muscle gain, which in turn stimulates the metabolic rate thereby increasing the amount of body fat (and calories) that are burned off naturally. It was during research on the aging process being undertaken by Doctor David Sinclair that the age slowing characteristic of ResVeratrol was found. A number of tests were then carried out on mice that were given a ResVeratrol supplement, and the results showed conclusively that the mice not only lived 30% longer, but they did not gain any weight, nor did they contract any of the sicknesses that are associated with growing old.

Being a vocal proponent of environmental protection and preservation, the Bacardi Corporation never ceases to support efforts that promote pro-environment endeavors. Partnering with the Bahamas National Park and the Nature Conservancy has helped the Bacardi Corporation slowly realize its goals through the Park Partnership commitment. The Bacardi Corporation Foundation has been one of the biggest supporters in the creation and maintenance of national parks in the Bahamas. Among their notable contributions is the $150,000 donation given to the Bahamas National Trust for the improvement and further development of the Harrolds and Wilson Ponds National Park, the first national Park in New Providence. The Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park is also among the parks that have received great support from the Bacardi Family Foundation. The maintenance of the Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park is managed by The Nature Conservancy. The Bahamas National Trust, on the other hand, not only manages national parks, but also conducts conservation education programs. Conservation education is a process from which different individuals gain the knowledge, values, and skills to become efficient wardens of the environment and its natural resources. The education programs of the Bahamas National Trust are handled by a full-time professional educator and supported by a congregation of volunteers, as well as national and international partners. All three entities have worked together towards a common goal — to preserve and safeguard the environment. The Bacardi Corporation demonstrated a deep and long-standing interest in the natural environment of The Bahamas and Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park through their commitment to the Parks Partnership.Related Articles:Learn more about the history of the Bacardi Family.Visit the Bacardi Family’s rum factory.
